if its a known name and you bought clientele with it I would keep original name

I would keep the original name and continue to use it with my old customers but I wanted to expand into new locations.

I only work in about 5 small towns where I am in New Hampshire.

I just didn’t know if people would think
“Home Serve” was too close to “ServePro”

What’s wrong with the old name? Sure is quick to know exactly what you do. I’m not sure Home Serve is better. Sounds like you live in a rural area. Country doesn’t sound like it couldn’t be used in other areas. “Quality Small Town Service” people still like old fashion service.

Be cautious about a name that limits your services. Customers of Country Carpet Cleaning may not know you also clean tile & Grout or upholstery. If the name is "Home Services" what happens if you want to add commercial cleaning? Boisvert Cleaning Service is unique but will customers expect you personally on every job? If you expand to more employees that is a potential issue. Wayne County cleaning is OK until you expand into neighboring counties.

I am sure you get the idea. One more thing to consider when choosing a name.
