Interesting thread to read here. I think it would be a good idea for TMF to have a sells discloser/disclaimer as a protection for future cases like this one. If push comes to shove, all the people who bought defective or poor performing products from a manufacturer that TMF distributes, could get together a class action lawsuit. TMF could be named in the legal case and all profits obtained could be reimbursed to said claimants.
Most stores (distributors) allow returns to circumvent this situation. They have an agreement with the manufacturer that keeps them safe.
These are growing pains for TMF. Just be careful in the future or all that you are building up can come crashing down.

We have accepted returns and gave back refunds, we did not manufacture this product at all and have been in talks with Francios for weeks now. This is the only product out of 2,000+ products we have ever had an issue where select models are leaking and the manufacture says a fix is in the works where the manufacturer will send out the parts direct.Rob...I feel you are a straight up kinda guy ( a little cocky ) but still..a straight up guy...You sell this, " you are the sub-contactor "...you make money from this?...That being said...When I sub-contact some one...I have to back that...( that's why I should make money )...Please don't fall back on the " manufacture to back the product...( even though he should )..
Five Star man...It's time to shine.
I asked the question. Mike asked the question...maybe in the future, it's time to answer the question.
Your court...
Listen... I have no grudge...No history with you or your company...other than your chemicals,( as they be ) are kick ass...Your G M is ground breaking ( I hope that chemist ) is paid well ..lol
but please don't drop us because you have made more money than you ever thought you could.
I get it...I really do...but some of us get...and some of us stand...I feel you are a " stand guy "...prove me wrong.
All BS aside...Did he really say that to you?
Bad comparison , Jason . If you had one those early not ready for the market Drys you would feel different.I had one break or need upgraded 3 times. This reminds me of the threads about the Mytee Dry upholstery tool. So many posts was made about them not field testing before selling the tools, most of the post was made by members that didn't own the tool. It was bad enough that Mytee pulled advertising from TMF.
Good comparison IMO since I said the thread reminds me of those threads.Bad comparison , Jason . If you had one those early not ready for the market Drys you would feel different.I had one break or need upgraded 3 times.
I also had one of the not ready for the Market early IPS . Should have never been introduced in to our market without Viton seals or unreliable batteries.
Yawn...that's all you commies (democrats) have. Most hated President in US History! What did you expect!! When you give out hate you get it back 2x’s over!!. To funny!! As for the sprayer, I am sure Rob will do his best to maintain there reputation. He did not know, I am sure next time he will do way more than his homework!
Yawn...that's all you commies (democrats) have.
Funny, slave masters profited form the efforts of another human...sounds very much like socialism.
Hey floorho...i hust got off my ouija board; Frederick Douglas told me to tell you "the gates are open now, its ok to vacate the plantation".
Gotcha ya .Good comparison IMO since I said the thread reminds me of those threads.
BTW I have 2 of the Mytee Dry's hanging in my garage useless as the flow valve on both of them went out on them both.

I make a habit of never buying something new that just came out and also do not get caught up in the "almost sold out" hype. Honestly I am almost the last person that purchases something new and wait at least 6 months before I entertain the thought of buying something.after i purchased original others had issues with it. i didn't full with manufacturers or calling tmf if i purchase a tool should i really need to modify it too get it to function asnit should?
i understand mods for personal comfort and preferences. but mine leaked like a sive and wouldnt hold a prime.
so what got me in this deal, no i didn't purchase new version for obvious reasons.
is if it was already known there was an issue with the original why not make doubly sure and the newer version?
tmf has branded itself very well and alot of guys put trust in that branding. jmo before releasing a product make sure fits and meets operable standards

About once a month there is either a new prespray coming out or an improved version plus members post about using samples of stuff the rest of us dont know about and cant get. I switched back to using Bio Break and Traffic Slam for most of my jobs, I can buy them in 5 gallon buckets locally and save the crazy shipping charges.yea i've learned my lesson
Waited over 6 months on the Dry , waited 6 months on the original IPS both weren’t ready.I make a habit of never buying something new that just came out and also do not get caught up in the "almost sold out" hype. We loved the Mytee Dry's until they stopped working lolWaited over 6 months on the Dry , waited 6 months on the original IPS both weren’t ready.
BOTH weren’t promoted heavily at the trade shows I attended .
Both did a great job for a short time before needing repaired or modified.
My distributors took all of the responsibility , never once did I ever have to contact the manufacturer for warranty work ( passing the buck).

Both of them had the exact same problem with the flow vavle not passing any water and being unable to turn the knob. I probably could try to do some kind of repair on them to get them working but I would rather wait and get a better tool that will last longer.
