Completely different tools. Cimex works great in Areas you can't reach with the truckmount. Personally I would look at a zipper before you buy a cx-15. Zipper can clean both ways and is built to last. Bonzer is another option, although durability could be a concern down the road with it.

The CX15 is a great tool for open areas, especially commercial carpet. (Easy enough to turn around and go either direction. I don;t see what that would be an issue.)

The zipper is a fine tool, but at more than twice the cost of the CX-15. Sounds like your are trying to match your budget. I think you will love the CX-15.

Cimex is wonderful for both HWE agitation and for VLM bonnet or brush cleaning applications. It's the most multifunctional of the tools mentioned so far, which (if you want to offer VLM) can make it the most profitable.

Ones a flushing to and the other a great agitator. It's got to come down to your needs.

Could go either way but I'm glad I have my Cimex when I'm in those higher floors and also not having to manage hoses. For me the Cimex is more versatile.
