I unplugged the switch on my waste tank as well.

My butler has a similar issue, shutting off once in a while. What do you really want, Americans designed it, not the Japanese.

What I have to do to fix it is, get in the drivers seat, take the parking brake off, put it into gear and move an inch, then slam the parking break down.

I also sometimes have to pull out the fuses behind the white panel, mainly the left sided one if you are looking directly at the panel.

bypass the recovery tank auto shut off or it may be you need a new turn on button. They go sometimes

I agree with Shane and K Stols. Most likely a cut off switch or it could be the switch itself. Check all wires and connections, fuses and do a bypass on the cutoff switches ( waste tank but to be safe ->water box) but if its possible discnonnect the waste tank float switch.

Yes, a waste tank float switch can cut the engine off and not allow it to fire up.
if its unplugged it can also do the same

Try this
test 1
hold the bypass switch on as you crank engine. Does it turn on or just dead?

test 2
just before you turn the engine to start do you hear the fuel pump energizing?
