Need help with bedroom carpet

So I'm new to the forum, im from maryland im a 46 year old male I'm not a carpet cleaner I actually work at my states airport deicing aircraft, the reason I came to this forum today is I tried to clean my bedroom carpet using a TMF product called black label pre-spray,I followed the instructions giving to me by a carpet cleaning tech via reddit and such, I followed his instructions and afterwards my carpet is brown,more brown than usual its my fault though not sure what I did wrong maybe the Pre spray I'm using is to high in PH not sure?

What did you rinse with? Reddit? Odd

The lad on reddit helped me a ton I'm guessing I just didn't follow what he was saying to a tee

The carpet is around 7 years old as well was a nice light yellow now its brown/yellow due to spotting

Its wicking. Usually from taking too long to dry or insufficient extraction.
