    So I have a SS370 truckmount
And I'm looking at buying a porty because I have missed out on a few good paying jobs lately AND...I just did a quote for an Airline customer/VIP lounge at the airport so I'll need to buy a porty to get it done...
60 chairs and 250sq meters of carpet
    And 3 small bathrooms....
I can get a porty with a true 1600psi for tile BUT...
do I really need that much PSI-overkill??
Sure I have an SX-12 & SX-7 and it would be nice to utilise them ....
I'll probably use the porty mostly for carpets so 5/600 PSI is fine for that
I'm wondering if Dave/Aloha's brushes and just carpet wand with teflon glide haha would be enough to get me through for the small amount of use it....
Or is the extra $2000 investment and the opportunity to pick up extra work enough to chase the PSI required to drive my spinner tools??
    Thanks for your input
    Cheers

Well if you're going to buy one anyway you might as well buy the one that will be a decent back up for your TM should you ever need it.

Good luck, thats an expensive portable. Its like $6,600 US. What temp will the hot water heater put out? Whats the lowest psi will it go. I like that it has 1600 psi although you don't need that much on tile & grout.

Pre heater is only glorified bucket heater and pump rated to 60C
Don't know how low it will go only worried about how high...
My MYTEE dry tool runs at 4-500
I got it for around $4700 USD

You should consider the Jaguar 8.4. Talk to Taf at Magic Wand. At 3500 shipped you get twin 8.4 vacs and 800psi pump. Plenty for tile with prescrub and groutmaster.

I have 370ss too and for portable i have dual 3 stage vac with 500 psi. I have Ninja Classic from ESTEAM. If i wanted to do tile ang grout I would take a look at King Cobra but it is very heavy. With dual 3 stage vac you can run up to 50 ft of hoses saves a lot of time on big commercial carpet cleaning jobs.
