Hey all, new to this forum but not new to the cleaning industry. I’ve worked for a carpet cleaning business for 10 years now. I specialized in everything from carpet, upholstery, tile, power washing, water damage, stripping and waxing and all floor Maintenance, etc. I’m branching out and starting my own business and planning on starting with a portable for now. I’ve read some threads and narrowed my search down to this Porty And was curious if you guys think this price is good and if you’ve had experience with this website. (3,770$ with free shipping on discount cleaning products.com) and possibly advice about the machine. The only portables I’ve used are ninjas and the prospector PE which is the 1,200 psi model. I mostly used truck mounts and we used the Titan 575 (which is one hell of a machine) and boxers. For my needs I know a portable will work for now. I want the best suction possible so i can use more hose. I read that the dual 8.4” motors are where it’s at. 500PSI will suit me for now because i plan on doing mostly carpets, upholstery, etc and possibly flood damage jobs depending on the size. I plan on using an external heater to avoid popping breakers. Although I have experience in the cleaning industry I’m pretty mechanically and technically challenged to say the least. Will this machine run off a generator? I’m going to get a enclosed trailer and was thinking about getting a generator but was unsure how that all works. What’s the longest length of hose to use and still clean affectively? Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time.
