thank you for the offer ! I bought this machine because of the size and vacs, if it overheats I plan on checking the wires first, then I will put one of those high volume 3 inch fans to move air,,, I think I have one of those fans you are showing in the shop. But I agree with you up above I don't think they are allowing enough air flow in the lower case so either adding some vent holes which I would try first and if that didn't work I would add a 3 inch fan, blowing in.

May also be a combination of things. Bad circuit in home. Or Like the pump and motor on same circuit. Probably borderline as is. And if using under sized cord or too long Theres voltage drop. Usually don't matter but when you get that high up in amperage on a circuit the voltage loss will overheat electric motors. I run 2 weak 2 stages in series and share circuit with pumptec356. On 75' to 115' of cord. And that pump motor gets hot. Like I don't want to touch it hot. But I'm probably getting away with it cause it's not contained in a box. It's out in the open. I think that's the same pump they use on the nautilus 1200 psi could swear I saw it in video.

The fan that's there should do the job. You just need a vent hole for it to force hot air out. I used hole saw and put a computer fan metal screen over it so it wasn't just a open hole. The compartment fan should be blowing in cool air. I use to think it was better the fan sucking hot air out but was wrong.

That machine look really nice for being used. Looks new! Great score
Yes i will look into that and yes a big score...less then half the price of a new one

It worked fine for 4 hours at a big house i did, i left it at the bottom of the steps , big open area. Monday i was at a smaller house and left it in the kitchen area. Just leave it in a well ventilated area where the heat wont build up in the room should be fine....im going to use it today, ill let you know how it goes

They are 25ft 10 gauge cords, i usually plug the one with the pump+motor in the kitchen above the counter or laundry room and the other one in whatever outlet is close by

Lol well you ruled that out. Your way good on cords and outlet should be 20a at kitchen. Ide check over all the connectors inside. Make sure they're tight and all the way on. Remove switch panel check those connectors and look for any issues. Sometimes it's at the switches. This is a pick of one of the wires that was coming from one of my switch

Lmao Wow! They're barely good enough to run a weed wacker. It can melt the homeowners outlet too. I've been there before. Scary to see smoke coming from outlet in the wall. Ever since then I check to see if plugs or outlets are getting hot. Very paranoid since then.

Man i could use that! Says it carries hose. Wonder how much hose will fit? None the less just having everything right there would be nice.

Carries 25' vac hose and 25' solution hose pretty easily. Some have fit longer sections in with a little pushing.

Thank you Scott. I'm going to look into one. I like how it keeps everything organized. May or may not hang from the Goliath but I'll find a way.

You can also buy a metal bar. This screws into pre-placed locations on the NAutilus, but you can drill holses into many other portables. The other style ahngs from an adjustable strap that adjusts to fit many different portables in addition to the Nautilus.

That / This looks mandatory for the cadie bags.

This had to be part of the problem causing the motor to rev up to full power the whole time thus overheating and cutting itself off. As stated in the begining i bought this used and it was thia way when i got it.

that would cause a restriction. that restriction would cause the motor to use less amps as far as I understand, but, these motors also depend mostly on the air they move through the fan's internal blades for cooling. It also helps a lot to have the housing compartment to have air flow too.

Oops. I didn't add text. Looks like glue is letting go and vacs are pulling gasket in. Not the first. Someone else had this on a different machine. I always thought gasket is applied to motor. Guess it wouldn't really matter. Next time I change mine I'm going to apply my own adhesive.
