Just furniture polish or did you use the furniture polish after the nail polish remover?

No nail Polish remover. Table had good clear coat on it. Could scratch off with your finger nail. Had to buff hard with towel which left a haze spot. Furniture Polish brought shine back. Sure if surface had dull finish it would of been harder to remove. Got lucky with this one
