The RV360i is a very good tool in several ways. It is very light, takes up very little space in van and cleans very well with excellent water recovery. Some of my critiques are personal preference, such as the handlebar design. I love the sight tube and the dial for speed adjustment. I'm just saying that the price should be lower because of the price of the higher quality T Rex Jr.

Short and sweet review wrap up.

RV should lower its prices and MyT should remain steady on theirs. CC equipment is over priced to begin with.

Gortesquely overpriced. Consider that some truckmounts cost as much as a new van. Good grief.

A lot of people have 360i's on here and would scoff at the notion they are not cleaning "deep". There is zero filth left in that carpet I can promise.

With 30 years in the biz, and a viper, I'm sure you know that on longer pile carpets it lays different from the rotary.
I decided to get a T-Rex after a major breakdown with my 360i caused me to lose confidence in the product.
I was very happy with how deeply it cleaned. In fact I liked it so much that I never wanted to be without a rotary and wanted something that seemed more reliable.
Once I got my T-Rex, I realized that it actually cleaned better and faster than the 360.
I'd respect your opinion much more if you actually tried one or better yet, owned one.
It's like a kid sitting at the dinner table saying, "I don't like pudding", when they've never tried it. o_O

No. But what I wasn't buying is that the jr is that much better than the roto. Deron was talking daddy trex while I thought he was speaking of jr
But you still have no perspective to make that assumption.
I've never tried the Jr but there are things about the jr that are the same as the Sr.
Things like the narrow handle, rigid handle design, hand grip tilt, swivel pressure line connector, heavy electric cord, aggressive vac head design and flexstar option for CGD. These are all things that make the Sr AND the Jr a much smarter choice.
When you consider that the Jr and the 360 are similarly priced, it doesn't seem intelligent to choose the 360 over the Jr.
Personally, I don't like the idea of the smaller motor and the only reason I would need a Jr is if I had a smaller TM.
Since I have an Apex, I'm happy with the Sr.

It's not an assumption it's my opinion which I believe I am entitled to. All those benefits you listed don't really solve any problems for me and since we were only talking cleaning....it's the same. Again, deron was talking one thing and I the other

I have both... Admittedly, my Savage etm lacks the cheer power of my old Fox gas TM, but it does a good job. I think jr cleans deeper than even the bigger Trex... But that may be because of vac power limitations with the etm. The size and weight is great, though.

I like to take some time to form complete opinions of equipment. So far, I do not see any difference in cleaning proficiency between the mega T Rex and T Rex Jr..Cleaning ability is an important factor when comparing rotary machines but there are other factors as well. I always liked the RV360i but these things are relative and when the T Rex line came out, it changed the landscape.

There are lots of members who only have one rotary and they claim this and that but lack the knowledgeable perspective to make the call. It has been going on here since I have been a member. Slippery Dan is merely the latest and the Great Camacho makes this point clearly, albeit a bit too friendly for my sake. I prefer at least "jackass" or dipshit" expletives steamrolling the victim. Admittedly, Slippery Dan has suffered humiliating defeat here and yet I feel a need for more.

On a serious note, the RV360i does a good job and you won't see a difference on some carpets. On others, I believe that you will, using the T Rex Jr.
