Same here. I use shooting headphones now that have aux jack. With a bluetooth reciever clipped onto it. I cant hear anything outside of it. Love it. Im getting these next. Wont hear a thing except my own music. View attachment 85637

I have the 3M work tunes with Bluetooth and the tuner for local radio which is why I bought them. I use them with the portable and can hear the machine well and block out a lot of the noise. Very tough, 1 year of abuse and good battery life using rechargable AA batteries. I need to try some quality noise cancelling ones for working right next to the TM and portable.

Shooting head phones work good. You can still talk and hear people through a volume controled mic.

Yeah for short bursts with demo hammer you can get away without hearing protection. But hours of it will have your ears painfully ringing.

Making me feel like the resident psychopath here... I'm doing a big common hall project right now, and what's kept me going is the first four Cannibal Corpse albums in order, occasionally doing the same with Bolt Thrower or Jungle Rot. I'm usually an audiobook guy myself on any other work day, but droning, mindless work is reserved for classic heavy stuff.

It might appear to be ideal to be in the solace of your own home, yet it's loaded up with interruptions.
There's a particular distinction between utilizing any old earphones and utilizing a legitimate ANC pair.
