Looked at an area rug today, it's a 12 x 9 jute wool area rug with browning spots visible. Customer said she had another cleaner clean the rug and it took 4 days to dry. Now there are maybe 2 brown spots on the rug but it does not seem consistent with what the rug would look like if the entire rug was wet for 4 days. I did the old sniff test to the brown areas and they smelled of dog urine, (two little yorkies snapping at my feet as she is telling me this). I really don’t think she was telling me the entire truth. Anyway, what would be some cautions to look for in cleaning this rug? I will post pictures of the rug when I pick it up.

Anything jute is a gamble. Nightmare usually. Dry compound with crb is what is usually recommended.
Thanks for the reply Smtwn,
I have used the dry compound with crb when cleaning cgd, but I have never tried it when cleaning an area rug with these little bubbles. I only have the blue brush, and my thoughts where it might be a little to aggressive.
