Sincerity towards all, not only the customers, laid back attitude, willingness to give free advice and I have to admit we have effortless sailing because of some great word of mouth is happening for many years. ( minimum -reg.service area ( 20 miles)$129, around service area( 30 miles) $ 179, out of area (40 + miles) $ 300. Obviously, it didn't happen overnight.I know some may not want to but those who dont mind, whats your best roi to date?
Our list
1. Angie's List
2. Yelp
3. Word of mouth
would love to hear from those possibly having success with
Home advisor
Google ad words
SEO (organic search results)
EDDM
real estate newsletters etc
any other type of mailings
Some avenues work better in some markets than others I understand. Mostly want to hear from those charging higher end pricing not so much the $99 whole house guys (no offense)
Can you post a link to the Val pack and do you offer room deals or percentages? Trying to figure out what the best way to advertise isValpak. I spend $900/Month and get 5x-12x return depending on the season.
I only offer small discounts and use the majority of the flyer to display value of my service.
.
None Of The Above.
When I started out on my own I knew exactly what I was going to do and how I was going to go about it. First, understand that I had little interest in just carpet cleaning. Don't get me wrong, I did it and liked it. But the kind of money that I wanted to make just wasn't there. I wanted the BIG BUCKS......Insurance claim work. Where there is No Such Thing as "How Much Do You Charge"?
I knew that most everyone who entered into this part of our field all did the same, stupid thing. They went to insurance companies and handed out there little business card, crossed their fingers and hoped they'd get a phone call. Pfffffft. To me that was just wasting valuable time. Instead what I did was market my skills to other restoration companies. I let THEM do all the time consuming foot work and costly marketing. Long story short, my strategy worked and the rest is history.
Hey so just trying to make sure I know what your talking about. Once you marketed your skills to these restoration companies. They would go out bid jobs/ capture the work and and sub the it out to you right?
I know some may not want to but those who dont mind, whats your best roi to date?

It seams like Facebook advertising works for getting leads, but in my experience those leads aren't very serious. At least if you ask them to print a voucher or send you an email. They rarely respond. Google ads works for me. Trying to find an additional source of marketing that works as well though. So far nothing works as does google. (2 years of honing google ads though, and finally got it working well)
We almost exclusively use the internet. One of our top referring sites of course is Yelp. Believe it or not Pinterest send regular traffic to our site also. Facebook is up and coming and I believe it would be a great site to focus on for the future. Our website with SEO and Google places / Maps. We have sporadically ran AdWords ads but it isn't the best method of driving traffic and if you don't know what you are doing then it can get really expensive.
So it would be:
Yelp
Website / SEO
Word of Mouth
Maps
Social Sites
I've thought about door knockers, do you offer a coupon, or some testimonials? I've gotten mixed feedback on the idea
