I manage Google Maps listings. We use a heat map to track how your business listing shows up in the map pack. There is formula for getting in the map pack consistently. It's way faster to rank in the maps section because Google prefers it's own listing over your website. Besides, your website will never have a greater domain authority than the internet behemoths like Yelp or Angie. Message me if you still need some help. That's my plan

where are you located ?My best ROI has been Business Networking International.
I get thousands of dollars in biz each month from BNI.
I10 years ago, it was great, but every year it gets worseHow does your Angie's List advertisement work for you?
Home advisor is a big part of my business advertising. They have me all over the Internet on major websites. I pay 29.99 per month and those leads I am not charged a lead fee for. For pay leads I have recieved 7 leads in the last week and closed and scheduled 6 of those. Highest paying job was $650 and another was $500. One tile job and one restretching. I've been with them for 5 years now. Will never let them go.

Not in my market. Every carpet cleaner I know of does upholstery. There never is that many. Very few actually. It's the way it is and probably always will be. Too many cleaners are scared of fabric. BOO!
Your link is forbidden ??Hey, I tried out homeadvisor, tried other lead generating websites for awhile and I found I could earn a lot more leads just simply ranking the website, or using google adwords to link over to my website.
But overall, a well established website is going to get you the most amount of leads on a website.
I recommend getting your business listing in google local listings, and then create a highly authoritative website targeting specific keywords you want people to search for and come across your website.
When creating the website, I have found the best results when putting your keyword in these 4 places:
Title Tag
Domain Name
Titles of Paragraphs
Page Header Title
The Most Effective Internet Advertising is Your Own Website!
You're going to get the highest conversion rate if u use your own website to advertise rather than paying somebody else to do it for you. If you want an idea of what I did to rank my website, you can use my website as a template for your advertising. It's Carpet Cleaning Petaluma. I just put it up maybe 2 months ago and I'm getting more leads than I ever did advertising with a service.
