Kunkle valve?

I normally run a very small truck mount. It has a 14 horsepower motor and a small 3 series blower. I recently got the chance to try and El Diablo for a whole month. ( My regular van is in the shop ) the vacuum that the El Diablo has blows my small TM out of the water. Don't get me wrong, I have been using my small TM, and I have accumulated about 50 five star Google reviews in the last 6 months. It gets the job done .Currently, my small machine is only pulling about 10 HG in Lift at the machine. The El Diablo polls closer to 15 HG even at a long hose run! I want to add a kunkle valve to the waste tank of my small TM. My mentor/supplier swears by the kunkle valve for improving and controlling lift on smaller machines. I guess my question is that will a kunkel valve actually allow me to pull closer to 15 HG of lift?

Shouldnt be any reason why your #3 wont pull 15hg does it not have a vac relief? Should be able to adjust the vac relief to get the 15 hg your wanting

I seriously doubt adding a Kunkle valve will give you better vacuum. Does your current vac relief valve work like it was intended to work?

Are you currently having problems with your dry times?

So I cleaned off the vac relief and had it calibrated. I couldn't get 14 Hg without stressing the motor out, but after cleaning all the gunk out and tightening the vac relief, I can say that the vac on my machine is astoundingly strong.

I was never fond of vac reliefs in the waste tank.
They need to be in the air stream at the blower for proper protection.
If your in tank filter clogs or partially clogs your blower is not protected as your relief is AFTER the filter.

That's a good point. I don't use an inline filter. I just have the cylinder blower filter. Take it off and spray out the tank once in a while. I figured less in the way of the airflow the better (without risking sucking a towel into my blower lol).
