Probably a 14 stair case.

I would charge your normal rates whatever that is unless you haven't developed a normal rate. If you want to give her boss a special deal l suggest that you let him know you did it. Call it a friends and family and boss discount, but let him know. I guarantee he won't appreciate it one bit otherwise. I don't care if it's 10 bucks off or a hundred. That is polyester that doesn't look too bad at all with some wear in the high traffic areas which may not look perfect even after the best cleaning. Over all that should be an easy peasy job. We all charge different rates. I'm not far off from what @mikevee said. I charge less for empties or places where little to no furniture is moved. I charge stairs by the linear foot and have for a number of years now. A dollar a linear foot works fine for me so each step that is say 4 ft. wide is 4 bucks a step or 3 feet wide is 3 bucks a step and so on. Works for me. Sometimes you'll be doing steps that are 12 feet wide or even 20 feet wide so how much do you think I charge for those?

Sorry, got sidetracked filming. I would charge at least my minimum of 150 but I would have no problem getting 200+ for that.

Like someone else said - Always let them know if you give them a discount. When I tell them the price I like to pause between the total price and the discounted price. It's nice to see the smile

Were very close on one thing and very far on another Tony. I charge 150 but I charge friends and family 50% more and hope they don't use me.
