Just signed up for my first IICRC CCT class in two weeks. After reading some of the forums here, I am a little concerned and iffy as to the benefits and longevity that the course will serve. Seems like a lot of the veterans here stop paying their dues after a few years and stop their forward movement with the program. I have been in business in the house hold cleaning industry since 2011 and have been carpet cleaning for the past two years (self taught). I have considered the TMF program but due to the notoriety of the IICRC program that is why I chose that rout. Just curious as to what sets the TMF courses apart from the traditional IICRC CCT programs. Is there annual dues to be paid, extended credits courses to be purchased etc. How does the TMF certs set the bar in an ever growing evolution of learning compared to the traditional education. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

They both have their value. But we feel ours far exceeds any course out there. Why?

1) TMF is on the cutting edge vs "dated" classes in my opinion
2) Classroom is taught in a practical and applicable way
3) TMF is 3 part course;
A-Classroom
B-On hands school demonstration
C-Live Demo by 35 year veteran
4) Classes continually updated
5) My personal cell to help you in tight spots
6) Unbiased with large selection equipment demonstrations vs a distributor showing you only what they sell
7) Reasonably priced
8) Online can watch at your own convenience without missing valuable work time
9) You can watch it over and over vs reading some dry notes
10) You support and have the support of a father son team who spent decades in trenches vs multi-million dollar cold corporation

Last and most important is I developed these classes first and foremost for my grandson so he could learn and take over our multi-truck business one day. Interwoven is sales, ethics, unparalleled customer service and quality. It is also a "system" that a foundation can be built on to take your busyness to any level. It was not built with profit in mind, rather out of love for lineage.

Thanks for asking,

Rob

Thanks for the breakdown Rob. I will be looking into the TMF courses in the near future. Always appreciate your videos and what you bring to the table for the carpet cleaning industry.

As a person who has gone the iicrc route and let it drop over 15 years ago before tmf etc it was obvious that they had a brand of chemical to sell us also the continuing education was clearly geared to be a profit driven concept... I haven't taken any courses with Rob/tmf yet but I can tell you most customers don't care how many merit badges (certifications) you have the care about workmanship if tmf classes can do that why make it any more complicated?

It's kind of like a high school diploma how often do you get asked if you finished high ? If you do good business which certificates you have if any were not even come up. I'm going on 20yrs and hasn't come up with a customer in over 15 yrs
