Jeff and I modified an american 4100, It's a 25 hp Kohler turning a 4005 blower, from the factory the vac line from the blower was 1.5" Marine exhaust hose.

We went to 3" Hose over the 2.5" 90 out of the blower (Couldn't get rid of the 90 without serious remodeling) Bent in a wide arc up to the waste tank.

Then we added 50' of 2.5", generally gets us to the front door.

THAT MACHINE ATE A VITAMIN!haha

Now would you consider running 2 2" hoses to get the same result? 2.5 is where it's at!!!! I also have a 25 horse and the dif. is incredible!

AWESOME! Good Job on that! What kind of clamps are you using? I have never seen that type so large. I usually use T-bolt clamps.

What is the exhaust end diameter? Have you thought about increasing exhaust diameter also?

I have a 27 w a 4007 and a 2.5" and a 2.0". So with 70' possible to the door and the 2" next to it you can truly feel the 2.5" has the greater vacuum.

Note: I have 2.5" from blower to door! Also I have a small volume exchange tank so the recovery is super fast!!!!

There is also a 3-way ball valve and a belt driven auto pump out. So I can go from 'out of van" or "to the waste tank."

There is a big difference in the 2.5" over the 2".

If you build sports cars and such the first thing you quickly learn is to let it BREATH!

REALLY SOUNDS LIKE THAT’S WHAT THEY DID - OPENED IT UP:AddEmoticons04233:
