Hey guys, just wondering how many are using in-line vacuum filters? Personally, I haven't tried one yet as the basket filter and air inlet filter seem to be doing the job on my Titan 575. Do certain machines benefit more from filters? Do you loose some vacuum pressure?
Been using one for a long time. No decrease in vacuum as long as you clean it out after each job as needed.
Sure beats having to go into the waste tank and clean the filters out every day.
Normally I clean the filters in the tank about once a month if needed. Will never go with out one.
Main reason I use an inline filter is that you can run 4 to the door.
Another good reason is that you can switch out filters (5 gallon paint strainers you can buy for about a buck each) during the day if you need to rather than going into the waste tank. You would be surprised how much a 5 gallon paint strainer will hold!
I use a CRB so I pull a lot of gunk out of the carpet.
Agree with John, clean the waste tank and filter once a month.
