If the economy doesn't tank we are on par to double the size of our business this year. There are a few key strategies we implemented this year that have been difference makers. If you are interested please click the Like button and I will share. :)

Here is how we've done it;

1) Closing more sales via answering phones. We now ask for their name early on in the phone calls and give them our name. By formally introducing ourselves to the potential client we have raised our closure rate. Why? Because it is harder to hang up on a person you have formally met than hang up on a stranger or an impersonal company. Try it.

2) We set up an encapsulation mini van and introduced our new "economy package" for the some price shoppers. There will be move outs and people on a budget who can't afford our regular rates. Why not offer an economy package. Toyota,Chevrolet,Ford,Nissan and many others have been doing it for decades. The differences are minor but the lower lines are more affordable. A mini van gas and encap machines are very inexpensive to offer. We have found upsales have still been good esp where there are pets.



3) Working hard our past clients who are a gold mine every month with Service Monster post cards and Rich Cleaner "I miss you" strategy So many cleaners neglect their past clients. We started to market ours heavily this year and boy what a difference. The phone rings off the hook. Here is the link and I have arranged for TMF members to get it free. Enjoy!

I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised. I wasn't going to reveal this until the end of the year but felt now it needed. Many claim to be marketing experts. I find cleaners are going to the wrong places to find information that fits them. Such as Google,it's too broad. Or listening to cleaners who work for their parents or worse yet to those who are not even in our industry. These people make up forums,YouTube videos and internet pages that mislead cleaners. All the while passing themselves off as experts. That makes no sense to me. Better to get it from someone who has implemented strategies into his own company. Someone who has been in business for 30 years and knows the industry inside and out is it not? Maybe someone who has built a multi truck company and has doubled his business in one year? ;-)

To illustrate. Imagine you go to a gym to work out. There you have a variety of people. Most make little or no progress. I know. I was that way. Suppose I walked up to one of them for information to grow my muscles. Yes they may kindly share but what they share does NOT work. Now suppose I walked up to a guy who made a ton of progress in the 2 years I had been going? Well this happened. I went up to the guy and he showed me what I was doing was wrong. I was shocked at his answer. Totally. Though in disbelief I tried it and I made the best progress of my life. See he had been there,done that and implemented a successful strategy. I got that through my head and searched for the best strategies I could find. I think each of you will be pleasantly surprised.

Our company bought Rob's ride along video along with several others by Bridgepoint, Prochem etc. The Ride-along blew the others out of the water for USEFUL info given, watchability (not too corny) and not condescending.

Just watching Rob's Ride Along DVD will teach you more than the average NEW forum.
That's news to me Jason. But I have heard there are "copycat" forums with nothing original. Do cleaners really fall for that? :p

haha Jay I have those to. But sadly at 53 I am losing my hair. Err. Hey does that mean I have to change my avatar pic? :D

Now all kidding aside. I did learn from those https://shop.truckmountforums.com spotting,carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning videos. It is out date with the times but I watched them about a month ago. I was surprised by how much quality content was in them before the advent of the internet. It's just that carpet and furnishings have changed so much with junk polys and blends.

And letting the "cat" out of the bag I have another DVD that will be released in Dec. Watch for the teaser soon. ;)

Yeah! We've got those too - super cheesy! There is good info, I agree, but when its produced in a goofy way its hard to pay attention...my ADD & OCD clash!
