Hows my water and Pre - Spray PH

Hey guys..

Need one of the mad scientists to check to see if im on the right path.

I live in Australia.

Water in my town is ph of 6.5 - 8.5 and believed to be soft.

My Pre- Spray is Fabripowr plus ph of 10-11

with the softer water and should i still use an acid rinse on wool with my current pre-Spray or should i just buy wool safe pre-spray?

TMF chemicals are not readily available in Aus

I’d only use the Performance on wool rugs
It doesn’t have enough punch for wool carpet
And I’d still use rinse - Flex Ice either way
Have you tried Bridgepoint Chems , Biobreak, Flex, Viper Venom?
Powders much better/cheaper than 5L liquid

Water is a highway for dirt( a solvent) and needs an empty road to evacuate dirt
Chemical is like the vehicle you want to evacuate the dirt
Use a truck
A taxi
Or a Ferrari to drive away your dirt at peak hour -hard water
Or when the freeway is clear at 2am -Soft

Soft water is like no traffic on the highway
Hard water is like peak hour



Soft water isn’t going to do extra or add to the strength or effectiveness
It just lets your chem do what it supposed to do - doesn’t turbo it
It’s more that Hard water just takes it away makes chem less effective
So don’t think soft water is a turbo
So whatever power/strength you had in the ph of your fabripower would be lost in the lesser ph of the performance chem
What type of houses/carpets do you clean?
If you’re cleaning clean carpet with soft water then you could use performance as your goto

I have used both performance gold and plus neither had the strength or ability for me to use as a daily base prespray

I will still use a rinse regardless
Soft water won’t stop browning etc

If it’s old dirty wool I would use the fabripower and use a rinse too

Bio break - bridgepoint will kill fabripower at a slightly less Ph and kills both the actichem plus and gold. Used with flex ice rinse it will be the mad science for your cleaning you seek

Ok so going to buy some flex ice and Bio Break and then sort out some decent flow on my setup and hopefully start making some money.. Im just to slow to make decent money at the moment.

agitation with Oreck Orbital
HWE..

a light to medium soil 3 bedroom and 1 lounge plus hallways takes me about 3hrs and i charge $170 so prices need to come up or i need to get faster

Buy yourself a decent porty, one with better production rate, give yourself a pay rise!!! It doesn’t have to be new, decent deals on gumtree. It will pay itself off in no time! Then spec up your alto, make it better!
What do you use brush/pad? With your oreck?
Blue brush best for agitation

less then an hour ? Hard to believe you are getting happy customers. I had a job for 3 rooms a hallway and a staircase and I was in the middle of the job and this guy comes in and tells me that he is the carpet cleaner for next door, he looked at my etm system and he went to work. I was about to finish the work just at the few steps left the next door neighbor comes along and looks inside telling us that the other guy left in 45 min and he left places that is not even cleaned. That day he lost that customer to me because it tool me 2 hours of thorough cleaning and my customer was extremely satisfied. I do charge 250 for a 2 hour of work but at least I don't have any negative reviews. Even I had a tm I would still take 2 hours because pre vac is about 20-30min, how can it be done in less then an hour ?

Fedri and his son did a fantastic job of cleaning my carpet. My dog has peed in a specific area multiple time’s and the at home carpet cleaner we have and used does nothing compared to what Fedri did. No more ammonia smell.

The longer you do this work, the faster and more efficient you will become.
Eliminate unnecessary steps, trips to the truck etc.
It used to take me 45 minutes just to set up when I first started
