Agreed.Unusual to see marble with such large grout lines. What is in your estimate kit? You need some alkaline cleaner, acid cleaner and floor stripper in bottles. A citrus solvent is good to have too. A piece of red scrub pad, grout brush and razor blades and white towels. Then you can test the floor to see what works, figure out what the soil is and determine if it's natural stone or man made.
You can put a little acid tile cleaner diluted with half water in a dropper bottle and put a few drops in an inconspicuous area. Most natural stone will bubble and fizz in a reaction to the cleaner and is a great tool to assist with identifying the tile.I was able to find some tile in the back that barely gets any foot traffic. Looks like marble to me.
