Here's what my 4TD set up looks like...well 4-to-curb anyway...

I park on the street if I have to cut the trailer in order to get in driveway to avoid tire marks on the customers driveway...

That looks really good. I am still going to look into it, but don't think my machine will benefit from that kind of set up- the 4td. I will get me a Devastator, tho .

Marking the driveway ? Is this caused by the double axle set up ? Never left any skid marks backing in a driveway but I do use a single axle trailer.
Drop hitch is another story that will leave a mark on steep entrance driveways backing in.

If you turn a tandem while backing up one of the axles will be pushed at a slight angle causing the tires to rub/mark the driveway, heck even my truck tires make a drive way if I turn on the concrete

Hooked up my water softner

Here's my live swivel to my fresh water reel

My connections to my fresh water tank. I used a all brass water float shut off because they hold up way better than those plastic one, also you can see the red hose behind my water inlet on the fresh water tank. That's my emergency overflow, in case my float fails for some reason the water will then discharge out through the bottom of the trailer and not flood the inside of my trailer

Nice setup Kip. When I have a chance to rid along with you, I'll ask you all about your softwater setup etc. My trailer is larger, almost too large lol. but I can stand upright in it and I have an unbelievable amount of space still.

What do you do for a gas tank for the truck mount? I'm planning on building a trailer from the equipment that was in an ancient ford van, I have a slide in for the vacuum and high pressure that feeds into a Little Giant propane heater and I am concerned about having a gas tank in the same space as a propane burner.

I have used trailers since 2002. Started with a single axle 6x10 now have a tandem 6x12 with trailer brakes. Love it. Very nice set up 1K.
