$1KaDAY im getting a smaller TM from Nick Nellos next week....Am thinking of taking the trailer route so I don't have to have a third car for the kids etc, that way i can just use an SUV to haul the trailer around then when not cleaning pick up my kids etc in the SUV....

My point is im getting a smaller TM which is all I need right now and wanted to know what you think the smallest trailer I could get is. I like things to be compact, especially in the twin cities, (drive ways are often small and street parking isn't the greatest.)

I am not$1K but I do have some experience with TM in trailers. My first one in 1993 was in a 10 x 6 single axle trailer with side door. It was fine and I would not want anything smaller. And with the single axle and a wheel on the tongue jack I could push it around myself if on a good surface. This helped in tight parking situations as I could unhook it and push it where I needed it. Not the best solution but worked fine.

I started with a 6X10 trailer too exactly like Harry. I still have the trailer and use it now for picking up and delivering rugs. 6X10 is the perfect size I think, somehow it even seemed to have more room in it than my van does. I would not go any smaller. Definitely get one with the side door. I started off with the machine at the side door ad the hose reel in the back but tongue weight was too heavy to pick up by hand so I put the machine in the rear of the trailer and my hose reel out the side door and loved the setup. When I pulled the trailer I always parked in the street anyway so I pulled up to the house with my trailer side door lined up with the house front door or garage door and could pull the hose straight into the house real easily. With the machine in the rear I could pick up the tongue of the trailer easily with one hand and move it where ever I wanted to.

I had a prochem 100a in a 5x8 with a side door. I still barely fit my machine and reel out the back, I had a little 35 gallon water tank and all my tools. You can make it work I just don't like a single axle trailer...and definitely get brakes on the trailer.

its an ez truckmount 16hp 33blower

Johnny if you were in a warm state like AZ I could see that machine working fine however in Minnesota that 16hp motor will struggle to give you any type of real heat. I highly recommend you go with a fuel fired unit. Nick should be able to put something together for you.

I noticed the Clean Free, good choice! By the color of those vac hoses I would guess you are still on the good boy list with *****. Flash cuffs are great I like them too. As for trailer It seems to be short on shelving.

Nope, $1K is on *****'s bad boy list. He got the hose from some where else and for cheaper too.

Dude it looks awesome!

I'm still surprised you like a trailer mount better than the pto van.

Does that APO just sit externally and have one hose attached to the bottom of the waste tank?

Yes the APO has a float switch mounted right above where the hose connects to the waste tank. The float activates the APO on and off as the tank fills to that level...which means you still have about 1/8 of a tank left at all times that needs to be manually dumped and flushed at some point. There is also a switch on the machine to turn the APO float switch on and off that way it doesn't kick on if you aren't hooked up to dump.

I had now owned 9 machines, there are things I like about each of them. Why I like this set up so much is here is AZ residential cleanings are mostly 100' runs. With a 4 blower spinning at 3600 RPMs that gives me good vac power. The biggest thing I love is the heat, with instant heat at 260 ATM it blazes through the nastiest of carpet...after using this machine I realized how much I loved my first 100a and the heat it delivered and this one with the mods gets hotter quicker.

This one also will fire with my dri master upholstery tool even at 200 PSI...heat cleans. And the BS that the water cools when spraying out of the wand to the point it doesn't matter is ridiculous...so how do you explain the carpet having steam coming off it after making a cleaning pass? Or the water steaming that's coming out of my APO onto the ground? And this unit doesn't have a diverter being a fuel fired so that argument is shot to hell as well...

Obviously you missed my " 'lot better vacuum hose thread" ... which is the one that finally got me the ban hammer at RC.

I like the Clean Free for a rinse...

The front of the trailer is not done...although I don't have alot more chemicals to put in there. I'm all about simplifying my cleaning agents.

Kip, with the two devastater filters can you show how you set them up when you get a chance?
Your set up looks sweet! Is there any chance of moisture getting under diamond plate floor and causing any issues?
I would imagine the floor is treated wood?

I leave them under the custom frame I built for my vac hose reel. The backs are hooked up to 2 2" ports on the waste tank. Then I run 15' of 4TD and "Y" it into a 100' run of 2". So my standard run is 115'...I had a custom length of 115' of solution hose cut to match (still have to pick that up).

The performance is there, especially with a 4 blower I don't need anymore than 15' of 4TD. What really delivers the consistent performance is the dual mini Devastators. I have run a lot of different filter configurations and this set up by far gives me the best performance from start to finish. At no point do I lift the wand and feel like vac power has diminished.

all she has in the arm bar....I hope liz puts a pounding on her big time!!! Have you guys seen the odds though....f*cking nuts!!!

All she has? Apparently that is all she needs. 9 pro fights, 9 wins, 9 arm bars, total fight time for these 9 wins, 9 minutes 20 seconds. This fight won't go past the first round. If it goes half way past the first round I'll be impressed.
