Ok gang I have searched the forums and haven't found the information I need to set me on my way so I turn to you distinguished gentlemen (and ladies) to see if I can approach this the right way. Thank you as always in advance.

Based on the customer conversation it sounds like it is a synthetic area rug with a Jute backing. I suppose there is a chance it is a natural fiber rug but synthetic over Jute is my guesstimate.

I understand wetting Jute leads to browning and curling??

I have read maybe encap with CRB?

I do have some neutral cleaning solutions on hand im thinking start there?

Thanks again guys.

Encap or dry compound depending on the soil level. We actually like to mist on SuperCap, brush in, throw down dry compound and brush again. Then vacuum well the next day.

Thanks for the response.

No dry compound on hand so most likely will encap with CRB and encap prespray only.

Use dry compound after spraying encap for more heavily soiled rugs?

Thanks.
