Planning to stop using HX and buy this HOT2GO from Northern tools, the think is I ask my interlink supply and they told me they do not do this kind of job (installation).

Does anyone Knows where can I take my van to get installed????
I don't want to do it myself
Northern said they do not know who can.
I'm in Colorado area.

Thanks!

Just looked it up...why not the LG4HT?

Install is so simple even a carpet cleaner can do it.

an electric water heater is not going to keep up with the flow of a truckmount imo, and it really going to suck in the winter time when your feeding colder water into it.

that thing is way expensive too, I agree just get a little giant 4HT youll be glad you did.

I can see that 2 thousand dollar heater not even getting you to 180 degrees, what is the water temperature rise specs on that thing?

we run a #3 little giant and a #4.. both are smoking hot but the #4 will really get you what you want

Thanks for your reply, let me bother you a little more:
1-How much do you estimate is a good price to pay for the LG installation
2-How long a Propane gas tank Approximately last?
3-It is better go with a 20Lb propane gas tank or install a tank under the van?

Installing an LG is just a matter of taking your solution line after the pump and feeding it thru the LG pretty much. Then you can run a BBQ tank, the LG will come with the hose for that just make sure its long enough to allow the tank to sit outside the van while in use, thats how our #3 is set up

you can ask LG about consumption but our TNT consumes about 1.5 gal per hour but that propane is also powering a 25hp motor.. that truck has a 40gal belly tank

I think the #3 is about .25gal/hr and the #4 is a little more. The cost to run them isnt much at all, we fill propane for 2.19/gal.

3-It is better go with a 20Lb propane gas tank or install a tank under the van

I can do the install for free if I can get some time off.
You want the tank under the van. I have a used one. It was under my van for about a year. Looks like new. I'm asking $350.00 and it comes with a $50.00 hose and fitting. This hose can be used to feed the empty van tank when it becomes empty. You sit a BBQ tank or forklift tank next to the van and feed the empty van tank. That Simple.
I do have a sister who lives in Aurora. I will have to see when I can get a break to come and help you. You would need the heater, hose and regulator. You will want to figure out where you want the heater in the van. Little Giant hose is short so you may need to buy a different longer hose if the heater sits to far away from the van tank. I sold my Little Giant but have the tank, hose and fitting.

I can do the install of the Hot2go but you will need a vent made and you will have to belt drive a car alternator to keep the battery charged. You could go with the electric Hot2go but you will need to plug it in every time into electricity
