Hey folks. Glad I found this forum. (Hopefully) simple question...I'd like to start taking care of my own carpet at home and am willing to spend a few grand on a good portable unit. Pretty high end thick carpet throughout the house. 2 stories carpet on steps. Looking for a solid portable. I've seen pretty good looking edic and daimer machines. Also heard good things about ninja. Do I need heat for home use? How much psi and water lift is sufficient? Any advice appreciated!

A machine is about only 10% of the equation. You can buy the most expensive machine on the market and get really crap results. Or a really cheap machine and get great results. When you hire a professional your paying for their education! If your doing it yourself ask yourself will you really be better off paying for a great job by a professional. If you think not then you are getting a foolish customer, yourself. Any of the people on this form that have been in the business for a time will tell you about the jobs we’ve fixed from a home owner.

We’re glad you found us too
When you realise you have lots of money invested in equipment taking up storage space that never gets used, you can sell it cheap here

Do you have any unused fitness machines / rowers/treadmills at home by any chance?
