You don't need any motors for a while!!

I like it. I used to do something similar with my machines before I used a pump out, but no check valve. I would hook a 30' section of 1½" hose to the dump gate and when you heard the machine getting close, go open the gate. Hanging off 3rd floors it would drain the tank in about 5 seconds. Great for water damage jobs.

You're absolutely right
We can't afford to come to customer's with a unit spitting water at 45-60 psi and pretend that we're pros..
amen, I didn't intend to offend anyone, but business is business, you have to look the part, act the part, and speak the part,,, and above all else you have to out perform all the competition around you !!! People look at your machines,,,, Rob went bigger on his tm, I went bigger on the new tm,,, never go down in size

I've been looking into this set up.
what do you guys think and/or what would you do different.

Ultimate Etm Truckmount 38Hp 4 8 Gpm 3800 Psi 490 Cfm 16 Hg Triple Reels and Hoses Synergistic Package

Thats alot of money. Why not just go gas tm? Or do you need electric?
Im not a fan of the goliath. Not having a solution tank makes me work harder on the small jobs where set up really isnt worth the money made on some jobs.
Those one roomers kill me. Sometimes its just faster to bring in machine and bucket fill and get it done. Vs bring out a pump bring out the vac. Plug it all in hook up garden hose for one room.
Commercial it's fine. Set up in kitchen area or outside of janitor closet and go. Security doors can be closed. If sump is working you can just go at it.

I figured for the money it cost to get a Gas tm with similar specs it was a no brainer, but I have no experience with nothing other then the 2 stage cfx.

That package seemed to fit exactly what I needed I wanted something that I could keep in my van with the option to take it out when needed.
I wanted to have high heat and at least 3500 psi for some pressure washing job's.

planned on leaving everything in the van and hook up from there. I also figured if something went wrong it would be an easier fix as for me wiring and replacing vacs are fun.

I thought about building a solution tank with a downstream chemical injector .
I definitely don't want to make set up time worse then what it is for me already.

Are there better combo options ?

Thanks Btw

Idk how well the quad 6.6 version will perform. Or its distances it can reach. Fedri has used that one. In my experiece with my machine 4x 2 stage 5.7 i was finding i could not reach with 100' in most homes and it began to suffer after that distance. I would have to assume the 6.6's would be obviously better at longer distance. I was always 50' from drive to entrance of home leaving me to need at least another 100 to reach areas cleaned.

If it were me ide research each component of that kit they are selling before pulling the trigger. Like tge heated pressure washer idk how well that does or holds up. So ide research reviews online and known issues, are there better machines for a few dollars more... and piece it together yourself? The goliath itself is nothing more than a shell with vacs. Its easy to load rolls very easy even if full. Not much to it to go wrong other then a siezed sump. The issue i do see is power. Youll have a gas washer already. But that goliath requires 4 cords. So will you use a gen to power it or plug into customers house? They are all under 15a so plugging in is easy. But thats alot of cords to deal with. 240v splitter can assist with that issue.

I think if you dig deeper you may find a way to kill 2 birds with one stone and still be able to have what you need. Pressure washer with heat is going to be probably most expensive part of your setup. Ide make sure its got the flow you need for the jobs you're after. So maybe take that question about that particular washer to a pressure washing specific forum to make sure your not looking at a dud. Its alot of money just best to absorb all the information on each piece. Good and bad. Fedri can give you advice on that psrticular goliath. I cant think of anyone else thats still active on tmf that uses one to ask.

The fact that I barely seen anyone really talk about the goliath is what I'm afraid of. I've read a lot of reviews about all other portables but I want to hear from the people that actually own the quad 6.6 version so that I can make a decision. I've contacted the people who left a review on the site but I haven't gotten a response yet Specs 4 cord, 50 amp, claiming 340 cfm X 215" /15.8 hg

Using the Mytee 7303LX version 2 as a booster specs 2 cord, 25 amp, 204"/ 15hg X 213 that will give you a total of 75 amps,
553 cfm , 15hg / 204.
There are more details on the site.
When you call they do a great job on helping you understand what is what, Just know what you're asking.

I figured from the specs i would be more then good to leave it in the van but again I'd like feedback from people who owns one now.

I did some research on the pressure washer I've gotten good feedback, everyone who has owned it seems to love it for the price.

The package does come with a 12000 watt genorator. seems to be a good unit, my only issue there is while leaving everything inside my van will I have issues in Arizona where it can be 120 outside and 145 inside a vehicle.

Once I get feedback on the goliath I'll make my decision

I'd love to get in contact with Fedri

Thanks

So you want feedback on how the Mytee Air Hog LX performs? If so I have one but I need to know what you want me to do to answer your question honestly.

I don't know what you mean by what I want you to do, but yes I'd love to read your opinion on the air hog.

I've read and heard mostly good things about them so far.

You have a new setup right?

Yes I have a brand new Mytee Air Hog LX and Water Hog as well. I primarily run a HydraMaster CDS TM as my daily worker. Got the portable setup for some carpet dye jobs and portable jobs.

I was just offering to do whatever tests you'd like to see down with the Air Hog if you wanted me to. That was all I meant.

Really?! I appreciate that you are willing to do that but I wouldn't know what to ask to test .

In all actuallity All I really want is something powerful that will clean quicker then I am now and give me good dry times.

It takes me a very long time to clean a 5 bedroom. setting up, vac, pre-spray, agitate , extract with cfx dual 2 stage at 25 feet, (I Bring it upstairs, where ever I go it must be behind ) and sometimes rake (4 hours)

it's embarrassing but i take my time focused on customer satisfaction

I don't really need a pressure washer but for the much lower price i could possibly have something as good as a high end tm with 3800 psi constant steam. That's an extra option for .

Either way if there is anything you could tell me I'm eager to read on your experience

Thankful and grateful of you guys!

If you can finance the monster kit 13k? I would certainly go with a good locally supported TM. There are so many things to hook up and go wrong with this system.... Yes it is portable---kind of. But You already have a portable system. Most the guys making good money are running TMs. I'm not saying you cannot put together an electric system. Your focus really needs to be on getting customers... and making them happy. Awesome that you are focusing on doing the best job.

Thanks!

Yes, my focus is to make the customers happy. It's the reason why I'm looking for something with good heat, better water extraction, and hopefully better set up/breakdown time. Hopefully I have my mind in the right place.

This past week I spoke to a few different finacial companies to figure what the monthly payment would be for the $14k

It's a little out of my budget, but I can afford monthly payments for the $10k with funds to spare.

Im going to take your advice, I'll go to one of the local places to see what they say.

Not sure what kind of truck mount I can get for that price but I'd prefer one that works well enough to give out good heat and not leave the carpets soaked.

If not I have a different personalized set up in mind as well.

Thanks for your input Rick
