I'm having the first issue with my SX-12 since I bought it. It required removing the swivel from the unit. I had an extreme amount of difficulty getting the swivel off because of the thread lock that was used. I finally had to cut one of the hex nuts off the swivel with a dremel cutting disk since I physically could not remove that thing to save my life. I figured I would just go to the hardware store and get another one right? WRONG!!! That part is larger than any I get get locally and I found it is sold with the swivel that's on the SX-12 and is not sold as a separate part. My question is does anyone know exactly what the size of those 2 hex nuts are on that swivel? I believe it's over 1 inch. The stated diameter of the swivel is 1.34 I think, not certain. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the swivel so I'm not wanting to replace the whole thing over this little mishap. I believe the Turboforce swivel for the 12 inch is identical, but not certain. Here's a picture of the 2 hex nuts on the swivel.

Is it metric? Id find out the right size, thread, and pitch and just get a nut for it
I asked the guy at the local hardware about that and they didn't have any nut to fit it. I've dealt with these guys a number of times in the past and they're pretty good at their job and they have a massive amount of all types of nuts and bolts, just not this one. If they don't have it no other place in my area is going to have it. I checked the inner diameter of the hex nut and it looked pretty close to 1 inch, but hard for me to tell. I think the guy at the hardware store may have said something about 1 inch too, but not sure. I guess I'll have to call Aramsco about this one tomorrow.

Do you have specialised nut and bolt suppliers?
Take it in, get them to match it up and buy a new one or three...
The place I went to is about as specialized as there is in my area. They have way more of all kinds of hardware than most all of the other places put together.

I'm pretty sure that is a Mosmatic DGG high speed swivel. I would give them a call, as well as your local car wash suppliers.
We don't actually have a car wash supply. We do have one place that sells pressure washers from the small ones all the way up to big trailer rigs. The place is kind of a mess though and the owner isn't even there 1/2 the time I don't think. I do believe you're right about it being Mosamatic although mine has Hydroforce laser etched on it. I'm sure they didn't actually make it. I'm going to call someone as soon as I get back from my job this afternoon. I think I might go ahead and give Mosamatic a call since they likely made it. I'm sure either they or an Aramsco dealer should know what I need.
