As you can see most of it cleaned up very well. There were some loose grout issues. Do you guys think that what didn't clean up is patch grout? I hit it once what tile master no scrub 10 minute dwell time. But I did it again 15 minute well time with the scrub thousand PSI. Any ideas?

When some areas of grout don't clean up after your oxy cleaner, turn to your acid cleaner to remove a layer of the grout, sometimes this makes it better.
Otherwise apply oxy again, which will now penetrate further into the grout removing deeper oils n soils

I have seen this. I simply go to a corner area and take a dental tool (the kind used to scrape tarter) and scrape a line in it. If it's still dark half way down it may be what you ready mentioned. In such a cars I tell customer it needs re grouting.
If it's lighter just below the surface I actually use a pressure washing narrow type spray nozzle on my wand and crank the TM water pump to 800 psi and it usually strips off.
Some old grout in weak condition could break apart so use caution and lower pressure.

From the pic, it does look like old colorseal to me too.

If true then you have 2 choices...
1. hack job and just match up color as best you can and apply a fresh coat of colorseal to those areas.

2. Strip all old stuff off and leave or apply new colorseal.

The moral of the story with grout is you have to become better at testing. Old colorseal has tricked us all at one point.

I have ran into this before. If it's not color sealed as the others have said, Acid will help greatly.

Acid doesn't 'clean', it actually removes a thin layer of grout. You may need to hit it a few times but if it's not all the way through the grout, the acid will do the trick.

Good luck!
