For months, I have been frustrated with a client's new "luxury soft nylon" carpet, which looks and feels, and, most importantly, cleans more like viscose than any nylon I have ever cleaned in my 37 years of doing this! We get the spots out and rinse with All Fiber Rinse, they come back. We treat with spot stop, they come back. We pretreat with various gel solvents, enzymes and presprays, rinse, post treat, flash extract, use weighted towels until dry...and STILL they come back! Each time, there is improvement, but I would rather clean silk, cotton, wool or viscose than this garbage. (The irony is that they replaced their wall to wall viscose carpet and area rugs with this Triexta like stuff...against my recommendation)!

Here is the label. I would love to hear back from anyone who has successfully unraveled this mystery. Thanks!

If it’s an area rug clean it and let it dry upside down.

I would also go as much as testing the fiber.

I had a similar situation a few months back
I got a new client and she wanted an area rug cleaned, it was suppose to be nylon 100%
as usual I test the fiber and it was nylon BUT with a jute backing (warp)
she was not happy to hear my warnings. She did NOT believe me, she was doubting me 100% and did not trust my words but My reputation was confusing her so she needed some items cleaned and had me work on those while she dropped her child at school, well when she came back home she confessed into calling the designer and MFG and both confessed of the Jute. She was blown away and just could not believe that the brand name mfg had done that. she now trust me 1000% and no more doubt.

I say this because you NEVER know whats in the carpet construction. Check it.

Lowe moisture is what I would do

Thanks. It wouldn't be the first time I was tricked by a label also. I will test fiber and backing. That makes sense.
