I'm doing a move out rental rehab. We have a glass shower door that's so scummy and white you can't see thru it! What can I use? We tried our commercial tub and tile and it didn't even flinch!

Looks great. One problem I have the keys for this house till morning. It's vacant. Too short of time to order something. Any other ideas?

If you have a boat place near by; get some hard water deposit/ scum remover from them. Works great for me. :)

I just ran across a video mixing baking soda and vinegar

Wouldn't that be counter-productive? Seeing as they are at opposite ends of the pH scale? :)

Do the best you can and then put some furniture oil on it....

If its the frosted doors it will hide what you couldn't get off.... If its clear glass good luck.

Very nice. Well done.

You can see in the MSDS for that product it has sulfamic acid in it. This acid is very strong and has a PH of 1. There would obviously be circumstances where this cleaner would be very dangerous to use in some bathrooms with calcium based stone in them. Other than that it's ideal and will always blow the white crap away.

Nice find.

Strong acid can stuff up metal framing around glass too.

I know this thread is long gone but I wanted to share a product I found at Home Depot. Zep makes a foam glass cleaner. I bought the three pack in hopes that it worked, it did! After a couple minutes dwell time the foam did a fantastic job on my shower glass. Good luck!
