Help me choose a new NON swivel wand!

tried the Devastator wand. Loved it but hate the swivel. Now before you say to just lock it in place, Im not going to pay extra for a swivel wand just to lock it

So i have narrowed it down to the SS12 and Mach 12. I*m 6 ft 6 so kinda on the tall side.

I would go the Mach12titanuim
Can be ordered with a 2in tube
And also ordered 2in longer for those who require the length haha
Also the Mach has adjustable manifolds which is better for your height too and I believe the ss doesn’t...

Do you own the devastator wand, or just tried it? If you have one, I'd definitely buy it from you!

just tried it.

I didnt like
-the swivel
-the streaks the glide left. They were hard to even groom out.
-that you needed to bring in an additional hose to adapt it to a 2 inch hose.

But the wand itself is fantastic

But the wand itself is fantastic

You needed a 2" adaptor to hook 2" wand to a 2" vacuum hose? I just got the Devastator wand as well and trying to determine if I like the swivel or not. Seems harder to push. Perhaps a different group of muscles that need to be used and exercised different technique. I do know that I like using it with the swivel locked.

tried it years ago. I like 12 inch wands for two reasons.

1. you get the same vac no matter how wide the wand head is so the smaller the wand head, the more vacuum. the more vacuum, the drier the carpet.

2. I HATE 01 jets as they clog up. .015 is the smallest I will go.

My Everest has no vacuum or heat issues and and the OEM Wand does not clog and dries the carpet super fast because it does not over wet . Complete words from a nay sayer .
