Please share your methods and experiences in efficiently and effectively cleaning gutters. We use the a wet/dry vac system in our gutter cleaning method but are open to new ideas as this method is best used from the roof however sometimes roofs are too steep and the terrain is constantly uneven and too risky for ladder use

I go up with a ladder that has stabilizers, I wrap the end of the stabilizer bars in carpet, it gives them unbelievable grip on the asphalt shingles. Then I scoop the debris out of the gutter into a 5 gallon bucket that I hang on the gutter then I rinse the gutters with a hose. I charge $1.50 per foot for basic cleaning and more if it has gutter helmet, covers etc. I give a 10% discount to customers who have cleanings once a year and 20% for twice a year, about 90% of new customers turn into annual cleanings.

I use gloves and a blower. I make over 10k a year doing gutters. Very profitable. Must be good on roofs.

I price from $75-$145 most houses and at least $100 per hour on commercial. Next week I have a huge commercial job that took me 7 hours last time, I did it for $1600. Me on the roof and a helper on the ground. This time it will be me and my new helper on the roofs and my wife on the ground. I expect 5 hours or less. 3 stories but great money.

I'd love to offer this service, I'm actually surprised that MANY lawn care companies do not offer this.

Agree totally..should be a no brainer since they have the contact and are already at the site.

Might be a Good add on service for your pest control since critters can nest in there?

Hello, I agree that most of them are not prepared to clean gutter because of its height. Next week we are moving to our new house and work is pending to clean bathroom, yard, garden and gutter. I am searching for some good professionals who can provide good cleaning service. While discussing with my friend, he recommended me movers in NYC who provides moving, storage and cleaning service. If you have any suggestions, please tell me.

you could add gutter whitening to increase your profit per job. We used Gutter Grenade from pressuretek. Works good!

Gotta think it would bump your insurance pretty high? We have a company in the NY/NJ area that does it - they advertise $99-$129 most houses. They have around 100 trucks running around!
