1,500 PSI, 3/8 hose from TM to wand, high heat, turboforce tile spinner.

Still didnt make a dent in this impacted grease. What would you do to try and clean this ?

prespray with grout cleaner....or better with a grease stripper.....

scrub with 175 tile brush......scrubbing is about 80-90% of
your cleaning in this situation...

may be a 2 man job - 1 scrubbing the other extracting.....

I've done some where the grease had to be removed with a screwdriver.
I've done some where the grout is gone and all that's left is the grease.

I add floor stripper to GM and then use a single jet gecko wand to peel the grout lines.

This is why I always do a detailed inspection when I do the estimate

LOL

That one would take forever with a screwdriver, that’s why you do yer homework.

You need mechanical agitation. I’d go 175 and blue mal brush and prob throw on 50lbs min onto the floor machine.

You stepped in this one

Yep yep I agree with everything up there. You could always use a crb on it but then again you'd be better off winking at it as it would give you the same results.
That needs alpha Male scrubbing from a stiff nylon on a 175.

Jobs like this are the reason that my tile cleaner was the same thing the hood cleaning guys used on the kitchen hoods.

It's not so bad most of it cleans up fine. Customer understood this was just a cleaning and not a restorative effort. Plus its 45 stores couldn't have visited each one beforehand.

I simply wanted to know what other strategies cleaners are using. I dont think I represented myself as a hot shot.

(Yer post asked for help cleaning not restoration also)

Yer fault for not walking those stores and showing up blind

Just saying you asked cuz you couldn’t get it clean, then you get good advice and say it wasn’t a big deal.

Nice to be as perfect as you. Picture this - you receive a phone call, cleaning is urgent, they want it to begin tomorrow.

Now go visit 45 stores.

I didn't say it wasn't a big deal. I said it wasn't so bad. Most of the store cleaned up fine and as others stated we used some agitation with a grout brush on the heavier grease parts. Heres another pic to show area that cleaned up without agitation.

Perfect? not quite, almost though! Jk that’s a cop out by the way

You cried wolf or the sky is falling whichever we just called you on it. I’m glad you got called for 45 stores that’s good, doesn’t sound like fun but good for you.

I cried wolf and the sky is falling ? I simply posted a pic of a tile cleaning and gave the parameters of what I did to it. Re read my message, it was very neutral and meant to open discussion for other strategies on how to clean it - it's called learning different viewpoints.

What exactly is your problem with me Mike ?

When you say high heat, what is your machine and heating system?
Apex 570, heat exchanger. With 3/8 hose 100ft and set to High heat it was reading about 180 at the machine. So not as high as a propane heater, could benefit from more heat probably.

What areas of the kitchen didn't clean up well? Anywhere in particular?

Good to hear most cleaned up fine.
