Going rate for comm carpet

What is the going rate for commercial carpet? It's about 1,500 sq ft in a neighborhood club house. Is .25 about right?

Markets vary a lot. Levels of service vary as well. I have seen bids for encap jobs of this size as low as 6 cents. Most encap bids would be around 15 cents. Most HWE bids would be between 18 and 25 cents.

Id be at .30

Cleaned it withy TM and wand. Can out great. Also cleaned 16 microfiber chair seats. Ended up at .25 per foot and 3 per chair... They were pleased...

PS Yes, I know. They didn't ask for a regular contract price. But it doesn't matter since your clubhouse person may never have even thought of this option. Write me at [email protected] and I'll send you a step-by-step list on how to come up with different contract options.

Thanks Rick. Can you give an average time it would take with Encap and using a few different machines you sell?

1500 Sq ft
Medium Soil
CGD
Light moving of chairs etc
Pre vac needed

Maybe include the process? I am nearing buying a machine, and this info would help! Thanks so much! Love your Encap products and customer service btw!

The only reason commercial is at a low price per sqft .... Is because of frequency and size of the place.
If it's only 1500 sqft which isn't a lot and I'm assuming there is some heavy traffic compared to a residential setting.
Most traffic is coming from an oily parking lot, so it's heavy in soil and oils.
Include coffee spills, etc.

Price it as residential.
This is why 0.30 cents a sqft, i recommended
Unless, they sign on a multiple cleaning deal, otherwise as stated before.
0.25 isn't bad either.

Rick, how low would you have bid (with your market) on a 100k sqft a year facility?

I recently lost this contract because it had a 6 month renewal/renegotiate terms.
I was at 0.07 a sqft, encap only.
A Maintenance company came in at 0.02
My cleaning quality was there on the spot. Everything was better , appearance wise. I even cleaned the facilities directors boat.
No complaints, just came down to economics.

Well $99 and $199 for a smart phone. And $199-$599 tablet duh Torrey lol
