I am looking for a good general spotter to use when I come across a spot while I'm cleaning. Something I can put in a spray bottle...

I've really been liking interlinks stuff, their bio break with citrus solve is awesome, mixed with boost all.

Than use avenge pro and put a spray trigger on it.

I need to find a great go to spotter as well. A guy I used to work with used ammoniated upholstery prespray which worked well, but I wasn't crazy about how it sometimes left the carpet fibers. It also says right on it not to use for carpet.

I know some guys use their favorite encap chem diluted about 50/50 w/ water. That's what I'm planning on trying next.

I use encap green as general spotter. Its amazing what it can get out and you don't need to be concerned about it leaving a sticky residue.

50/50 with water or full strength?

Nothing beats a fels bar. I've tried concentrated prespray as a spotter, but a fels bar just beats them all.
I like Fels, but dang it is hard to rinse out. Even after I rinse it out as thoroughly as possible, I still wonder if it will eventually resoil a bit.

I use Fels on small stains only! It really foams up my tank if I do large areas

Why would you dilute encap for spotting? I haven't done any encap yet except for spotting. I use it straight and have had good results.

Are you using an actual encap shampoo at full strength, or are you talking about an encapsulating spotter?

Because that is the recommended dilution for the product. It is highly concentrated. For general encap use you only need 2-4 ounces per gallon rtu.

Ahh Ha! I purchased a gallon of rtu. And I have a case of rtu quarts that we give out to the janitorial crews for spotting. I feel very good about spotting with a product that is designed for spray and bolt! Someone tracked a nasty spot of something into the office, I thought it was tar, poured encap spotter on it for kicks and BAM! What spot? Still don't believe it was tar, too lazy to get down to inspect it up close. My bad... thanks.
