Hey, just ordered a spare general pump for my hydramaster titan, however the shaft is on the wrong side. I know on cat pumps you can just take off the cover and switch the shaft around. Same deal on the general pump? Do I just take the 4 bolts off on either side and just swap it around?

Thanks in advance, my book didn't seem to have any info on it.

*HTS2016s

And I found it's parts list and diagram, and it just looks like I have to swap the covers, spacers, o-rings etc, and the bearings are the same for both sides.

Can anyone confirm? Thank you.

Should be able to swap them like a cat.
They make both right and left shaft. Did you order the wrong one?

Well I called up to my distributor and they ordered and sent me the pump. It's the right pump model but I think they sent me one ready to go into an Everest. Since the distributor is like 2.5 hrs away I was hoping I could just swap it around myself this weekend.

The HTS2016SL (left shaft) and the HTS2016SR (right shaft) lists the same part # for the crankshaft which leads me to believe the rotation can be easily changed.

Easy enough a cave man can do it :D. That is one thing I like about General Pumps. They have a lot of videos step by step on how repair their pumps
