$30,000 is the end of the world for that set up, and that's the right person at the right time. Your challenge is that's not a desirable TM so finding someone to spend that kind of money on a small TM setup like that is hard.

Real market value is mid 20's...I know that's taking a beating on it but that's reality.

I agree, I dont see it going for more than $30,000 at best, unfortunate truth about resale for truck mounts. I guess the bigger question is why arent you using it ?

The machine plus the truck. The cost was $ 39.963 we have receipts to demonstrate the purchase. The TM set was purchased from a recognized Janitorial company in Tampa. The machine has 0 working hours. The reason for the sale of the TM are personals. Please do not question the legality of this business without even seeing the machine or making a serious and reasonable proposal for both paties. for me as a seller and also for the buyer. I am open to negotiate but with reasonable and serious offers. The machine is also available for viewing and inspection for a potential buyer. Also if you worried about the machines genuine Please hire a professional to inspect the machine.

I wasn't questioning the legality of it? The problem with a resale of a truckmount is the warranty doesn't transfer (though I suppose you could ask Hydramaster if they would?)

All of us are trying to be helpful to you here and help you not to waste time. If I can buy that setup for $40,000 new, I'm not going to buy it for $38,000 used. It's just not going to happen unless like others have stated you find the perfect buyer.

agree. Plus its not a sellers market now...............or for the foreseeable future for that matter.

My advice, take any reasonable offer now because people are optimistic things are going to be back to normal in a couple weeks. But what if it doesnt. Its a gamble.

During these times I wondered what would happen to cleaners that just got a new setup. I guess we will find out soon enough.

They are already starting to pop up on the market.....1 year old vans with TMS with under 100 hours on them......

They are all asking way too much still. They need to cut their price in half to be at True market value.............

I am waiting.........cash in hand........plan to pick up at least 2 new setups in the next 12 months.

Never have understood why people believe a setup is worth half just because its used kinda ridiculous if you ask me....dudes higher than a kite as it sits but not half

sure during normal times....this is far from that.....

If you pay more than half you are gambling things are going back to the way they were 45 days ago.........

I would NOT bet on that.

Everything is falling apart. Supply chains are imploding..........

Fear is now throughout society...........

We are entering a brave new world..........

My bet is we have an economy that is 40% or more SMALLER than it was a few weeks ago.

If this happens over the next 6 months.....the van and mount are worth 15%-20& of what he has it listed for.

I have to agree with Spazzmout. The more I read the more I get educated as to what the outcome is going to be. I have seen some equipment go for sale locally already too. I also have to agree that selling new or like new equipment will be tough. It used to be that there would be what, a 35-40 % drop once you took possession. so 50%+ is realistic.

Think of it this way. How many carpet cleaners are going to buy new equipment now or even in the next 6 months. So if sales of new TMs are down, what are the manufacturers going to do - put their equipment ON SALE. That reduces the value of the new equipment they just sold.

There WILL be less overall demand for carpet cleaning therefore less new TM sales.

I think that new opportunities will be created after the pandemic and this business will be one of the most favored, cleaning systems will be highly necessary and these investments will be highly rewarded.
