This post is for the CC's who have to deal with freezing temps.
How do you guys handle the cold?
Avoiding frozen lines, water sources, protecting your cleaning solutions and protectors etc...
Do you leave the van running during the cleaning? Looking for suggestions to avoid any major damage to my pump, blower, engine etc!
( Or do you shut down until the weather warms? )

The truckmount running will keep inside of van very warm. Once off blower will still be warm hours later. I keep van in insulated pole building with a heater in van.

I've been looking to rent, nothing available.
On really cold nights a friend of mine lets me park in his auto shop, but he needs the space during the day so I'm forced to park outside the house with a heater in it.

You will want to wait to hook up solution line until you are ready to clean. That hose lying on ground can freeze in minutes. I have thought about using one 50ft. Section of solution line for winter and wrapping it in foil faced pipe insulation.

My unit is in a trailer as well. To tall to fit in my garage. cover the truck mount in thick blankets and put a electric oil heater under it. It helps keep it warmer during the night. Last year I froze my heat exchanger and broke it.
