I had a fire in one of my apartments. Something in the kitchen caught on fire. Tenant and pets ok. Happened on Sat 7 pm. I go to apartment on Sunday morning since I was out of town. The 2 front screen doors were torn and kitchen skylight blew out. The insulation and drywall in the ceiling is collapsed. The apartment is full of water. I secure the apartment, cover the skylight and put 2 fans to start drying the structure while waiting for the adjuster. After the adjuster arrives 2 days later, he says i could clean up. So we remove the wet insulation and Sheetrock. After the tenant has gotten what they wanted from the apartment, we throw her couches, mattress and tables and everything else she does not want. We clean up /shovel all the stuff off the ground and throw all the food.
Now my question! I do water damages but not fires. Can someone help me price this out or give me ideas of what to charge?
