I admire your ingenuity. You'll do better with a Rotovac 360i I would think. Also, you get enough volume of heated water with your propane water heater?
Would like to know more about how you hooked up the power washer to you equipment with pics please as I am about to do the same thing with my set up.
Also would like to know more about your vacuum motor set up that you put together please.

Here's my ETM build thread with pictures. http://www.truckmountforums.com/thr...uum-electric-truck-mount-with-pictures.35190/

Any pump can be regulated through pressure regulator. Run back to water source (Tank). Wont shut off or be on demand anymore. This is where The remote outlet plug comes in. Wont hurt it to continuously loop to and from tank.

Sorry garage made stuff isn't a good professional image you would want your company to have.

Appreciate you taking the time to explain that to me. But to be honest, I'm not completely understanding you. This is why I'm more of a picture guy. Same method I used to learn to play the guitar, monkey see, monkey do method I call it. :)

I understand what you are saying, even agree to a certain degree. But I also appreciate this kind of stuff too. Besides that, 99.9% of the time, the customer will never even see what's going on inside your truck nor care.

Its being a baller with all aspects of your company.. even with the things they can't see. I work in a lot of various subdivisions and there is always people walking by my van while I clean that look at the van and inside because all my doors are open.

But I also see a lot of people with killer machines, that have flithy vans inside and out.. a big no no, our vans and equipment are basically a billboard for potential clients.. so gotta be balling all the time.

Agreed doesn't have much on Dog and Pony Show Effect. Function over beauty?
If I put Diamond Plate box with lights and gauges would look better. Still a work in progress.

Very seldom do customers see my equpment, and the few that have were impressed that we built it. People want results. Carpet cleaners and equipment manufacturers are the only ones impressed with pretty colors, switches, knobs and lights. Your average customers expects to see a wand a couple hoses and could care less what they are attached to. You may get a busybody that wants more details occasionally but it's not the norm.

Funny thing is a guy who spends $15,000 on a truckmount will laugh at my equipment and doesn't think it can do as good a job as his can. But it does it day in and day out. 3 - 4 hour dry times, simple to repair and paid for.

Hey johnny do you think the metal drums will handle the vacuum pressure ? I can get very clean drums for 30 dollars each and would love to run like this

55 gallon drums? I would think so, but I've no experience in this stuff. But I have heard of others doing it.

First of all, the Lamb 8.4 vac motors should be run in SERIES.

They have plenty of CFM for the ETM.

But, when you increase the lift with the series vacs,

The metal drum will implode, just as it will with a #3 blower on a TM.

The inexpensive pressure washers also have a very short life for everyday usage.

Larry

P.S. Here is one my customer built:
