Hired a gentleman last week that worked for a national carpet cleaning company and was trained to always apply enzymes post cleaning rather than pre cleaning. This is new to me and I wonder if it is common?

If you are talking about what James said(for odor control)I find it best to go back and extract those areas(a day or two)cause it is a soil attracting sob...kinda like Nick to strip joints.

He is likely talking about Stanley Steemer and their Odor Out. Designed as a do it yourself product to sell on the retail level to their customers along with their spot cleaner. It worked ok. Many stanleys use it on the cleaning level.
