I've used wax called Interplex 25 and I swear you can dry buff this stuff 10 -15 times a year and restore brilliant shine every time. the problem is one of my suppliers charge pretty high floor it.. he says it has zinc which responds to the heat of the burnisher and is the reason to get such a beautiful gloss.. he wants about $270 for 5 gallons. Can anyone recommend another wax that they have experience with dry buffing and responds really well? I understand the good stuff does cost more but I'm just wondering if I'm missing out on something that's comparable and a little cheaper

Thanks in advance

In 30 years I’ve never heard of a bigger load of steamy bull! Dry buffing? What to hell?
Burnishing yes, dry buffing? Wouldn’t do crap. If it was actually doing anything it would mean the finish is so soft it would wear off in no time. I think Someone is selling you a bill of goods.
Bar none castleguard is one of the best floor finishes on the market. And no where on it does it say to “dry buff” it.

No Ones selling me on anything . I've dry buffed these floors all the time and see from first hand experience what kind of gloss comes back. Mop and sky blue 3m high performance pad buff and your done. Dry buffing means no spray buffing

I have a go to wax I pay about $110 for 5 gallons. But I know this interplex 25 stuff is freaking awesome! Have you ever burnished ( dry buffed) these finishes and brought back a awesome shine? I understand spray buffing but I'm speaking about specifically just mopping and throwing on a 3M soft sky blue and buffing out an awesome shine?

He's talking about burnishing. I know someone else that calls it dry buffing too. But he is talking about burnishing.

Yes, many times. I have both the finishes I mentioned earlier in convenience stores which I burnish once a month. The Omni Guard holds its shine better and restores with a softer pad, the Castle Guard looses its shine a little faster but restores to an excellent shine with a good hogs hair pad.
