Down upholstery

With all the knowledge in this forum I thought I would throw this out there. Doing upholstery tomorrow that has down cushions, was wondering what special precautions that I need to take to not damage the feathers inside.

Don't over wet it. If possible, use tool with a internal water circulation circuit, e.g. Mytee dry.

We need more info. Like what is the fabric and ticking made of? What color is it? And what kind of equipment do you have?

I'm late to the party and to late for your job, but the only part that sucks about down is when it partially comes through the fabric and you have to pull it through and suck it up with the upholstery tool. I have a custom down wool sectional I have cleaned twice a year for 15 years. Feathers are a hardy natural substrate.
