I just received this email and laughed at first then it pissed me off since a good friend of mine lost their 11 year old son due to terminal brain cancer. The uǝʞɔnɟ nerve of some people!

would need a little favor From you because am presently recuperating
from the diagnosis of lung Cancer and am still in the hospital. as
such i had to spend some time in the intensive care and so i want to
do the cleaning arrangement for the rugs and after completing the
payment with my credit card,also I would need a little favor From you
Regarding the shipper that will deliver those carpets down to your
shop for the cleaning Asap, Please do reply me if we can work things out Okay???

I've got that same scam laid on me twice via phone messages. Didn't fall for it obcourse but the scammers are out there.

How dare you knock the Nigerians!!! I bought some ocean front property in Oklahoma two weeks ago from one and the pics are beautiful of the property i bought. U am going there next week with sun tan lotion, beach chair and i will send you pics of it.

Funny he moved into your city 3 days ago but is recovering in the hospital.... I have gotten plenty of emails concerning lottery winnings, claim process for the UN on poverty program and your scam is almost the same type of language and their use of our language is terrible. I guess the guys are really stupid because they don't even proof read their stuff. Try sending back an email to them and explain that if they would give you their cc# you will do an advance on their card for a deposit fee required by your city's telephone laws. I know it sounds stupid but it does feel good to let them know you know how stupid their request is. LOL

In fact he did. It was when he was trying to sell his idea to Bailey.

Hannum said it because he was upset that Barnum had copied his Cardiff Giant, even though both giants were fakes. Since people were clamoring to see both of them, Hannum, in disgust, uttered the famous words.
