After one room cleaning. 100ft out. See the collapsing happening on the cuffs connected to the machine and the back of the devastator.

I Take the hose off, it does not do this. No collapsing going on on the front of the devastator.

Could be your filter bag is getting sucked into the back port of the filter. It's happened to me a few times if there was a ball of crap in it.
I have not checked into that. But it was a new paint filter added today. I cleaned one room. Do you think it gets sucked directly into the ports in the back? Too long perhaps?

All I do is pull the bag farther on and shove the ring into place, never slips unless there's lots of sand or heavy stuff in there.
Ahhh. Ok. I have been dropping my paint filter in to the mesh bag so it hits the bottom and tucking in the top from there. I will hike it up a bit to see if there is a difference.

Try threading them on, they are not push on.
I tried it again. I pushed them all the way on. Doesn't seem like anything is wrong now. Full suck and everything. I think Matt's point of them being cheap and less rigid than others, may have something to do with it. I wanted them to be super flexible actually, in the cold temps, it's a real bear to put them on. I just have to remember to push them on all the way now.

Machine runs good, I am happy.

I had to clear a blockage in the supply line...works perfect now.
