That one was just "red one" with the steamer. I used other products an the ink, makeup, wax, paint, assorted beverages that were also present. The owner is a friend looking to see if I could help him get his deposit back. He just left the door open those were some of the pics I texted to him. He was thrilled and kicked me down a nice tip to boot. He's a great source of referrals as well. I use Red relief as well for the more stubborn beverage stains. The finished pic I gave up on the paint spots next to the wall and the dark green one was of unknown origin. It looked like way but didn't feel like wax. I turned it to a faint yellow spot. It was just for 3 rooms of carpet master bath and closet. All 3 rooms were wrecked. I didn't want to post the other pics.

Candle wax is easy if you have the right stuff. I had something similar happen and she was amazed that I got the stain out. It does wow them when they say "Don't worry about that stain...The guys in the yellow truck said it was permanent!" Then I promptly get the stain out and make it look easy. :)
What is the right stuff? As you say.
I'm assuming a solvent type

I get out wax but not always. Usually I end up snip it away with my sheers.

I've heard about the brown paper bag trick, don't remember how it's done though

I am very fair. I charge, but if I cant budge it or get around 90%, I don't charge extra. its a gamble. But I usually win. House rules. Sometimes I just add extra work on quote. When I know I can improve it greatly. But also let them know which ones are issues. So I wont have a negative moment

I try not to exceed a reasonable price per room. I charged $85.00 for the three bedrooms, that includes basic prespotting and machine scrubbing if necessary. I charge 5-30 bucks each spot for redstain, ink, gum and what not, and try not to exceed 90 bucks for an average size room. In this case it was 85.00 + 65.00 per room for stain removals x 3 areas $195.00. So my total on that job 280.00+ a $50.00 tip. It took me 2 hours and 35 minutes and was 2 miles from my driveway.

Good job man.

What gets ink out by the way? I had one the other day with black nico pen stains on carpet. I used a dry solvent, and it lightened up but did not completely come out.

solvent does work pretty good though. might not get it all out but its worth a pre treat then maybe get the color out after wand rinsing with steamer. I been using it before going into extra work. Sort of knock it down . Really never tried this till a few weeks ago. I just use alsolve xtreme cause its what I carry. I always try easy first. squirt , dwell , nike shuffle , rinse. Then see whats left.

Don't worry about that stain means she hopes you will do it for free cuz she's a cheap azz.

I get that at least once a day. I got one today that said that to me and I let my ptsd get the best of me. I totally went around it and on the post inspection she said I thought it would come out..... I said to her , ma'am you said don't worry about it, so I didn't. She paid and I got it out.

TMF has showed me how to stand up to bullies
$300.00 not to shabby.
