Is it coloured/painted leather???
If you scratch it will you scratch through the paint like a car?
If so should be easily fixed with dawn dish soap and a magic eraser and a white fluffy towel.
Unless he’s an UmpaLoompa looks like girls tanning lotion haha
Hardest part with those is the now cleaned part looking so clean the rest looks dirty....
Clean whole couch with warm bucket of water with dawn and magic eraser. Wash it like a car or a cow haha
Stuff towels down into cushion gaps to stop water soaking in where you don’t want it.
Get your MrMiyagi groove on
Wipe on soapy magic wraser
Wipe off towel
Then when done simply “slime” couch with the best 3in1 leather cleaner/conditioner/protector applied(soaked) to a clean fluffy white towel
Bingo
I buy my white towels from local industrial laundry business that does hospitals etc I buy the white fluffy cloths with frayed ends &/or aren’t perfectly clean anymore, very cheap!!!
DO NOT USE DISH SOAP AND OR WITH Magic eraser.
Man that can do tremendous damage, especially if you're a novice and if you do not know what type of leather it is
P or A or N, or what if its fake or imitation leather? bonded leather? Take some classes and become familiar with leather cleaning. use mild cleaning first then work to more aggressive cleaning methods.
With leather master they recommend clean, revitalize then protect and with Hydro force its clean, protect and then revitalize. but regardless always allow thorough drying in between steps.
Always do same as fabric upholstery , rug, tile and carpet cleaning
#1. Identify, inspect and communicate with owner and document and get authorization signature
#2. plan the cleaning based on soil
#3 follow procedure and clean.
#4. provide client instructions including care and possible maintenance.
I personally do not like or will encourage a professional to use a 3 in 1 product especially one with the name "slime"?!
