Glad it is working out for you, thanks for the update.

But you live in one of the biggest and wealthiest metro's in the country, anything you do will see better returns then say buffalo.
But i am always looking to change and try something, so starting jan 2nd we will try this and have a nice page made up and the inside sales person will post 3x day (which is alot for here}.

Also will focus on tile/grout more
after 3 months we will see ...

Is this still working in Craigslist? I had a code working a while back, that let people click on the ad to go to my website...but it was gone when I tried to relist it after months of not using it. I found this old thread, and tried this code but it isn't working either. Does anyone know if it can still be done, and what that code is?

craigslist does not allow code anymore....kinda sucks....you have to just upload pics to craigslist and you can t have links to your website anymore....im still getting

Craiglist makes so much money for me and is free, if you educate the customers when they call you, you can defenetly change them from price shoppers to repeat customers.

Yes, Craigslist doesn't allow for HTML anymore. But you can still create an informative colorful ad.

Just upload your flyer as a picture and give detail information below. We aren't using Craigslist nearly as much as we use to. We use to to post around 15 ads per day using multiple accounts. Those days are now over. I hadn't posted an ad in almost three weeks until I posted today.

Agree.

Craigslist is a tool. We still post 3 times a week in 3 sections as allowed by the guidelines. We score between 3 and 6 jobs per week. Why not do it. Takes the Office manager 30 seconds 3 X a week to post. Its almost a no brainer.

I would NOT try to build a bizz around it. But it its kinda like free money so its hard to give up. Plus I can not really see a reason too. It brings us small and large jobs both commercial and residential.

i tend to place 3 specials on there. i also keep it short and sweet, letting people know we have no hidden fees etc, also throw in the ol' free pre treatment and deodorizer

It's funny that this thread is on here today, I just posted an ad on Craigslist today for the first time in over a year. Someone sent me a text wanting price for 3 rooms and stairs, after a bunch of back and forth texts they still haven't scheduled an appointment. First they wanted it today but couldn't give me a time because they wasn't home then they wanted Friday at 5:00. I told them I can't do it Friday but offered Saturday morning and suddenly they stopped replying. About 15 texts back and forth with no appointment scheduled

You can also put up a pic that includes your URL in the image, don't forget. Like Facebook (that now has a BUY button built in! http://www.techtimes.com/articles/10894/20140721/facebook-buy-button-will-you-hit-it.htm ) CL wants you to stay on their site, so they don't allow links (I'd always make it a Follow link, if given the choice. Helps your SEO) but they won't stop you from uploading a flyer image with your URL front and center.
